Wally Shipyard has unveiled the world's largest sailing yacht, Better Place, which is 50 meters long. This sailboat is the first in the history of shipbuilding built in accordance with the RINA Green Star classification.
As Wally President Luca Bassani Antivari noted, Better Place – it is the pioneer of the era of round-the-world mega cruisers. The exterior of the vessel is distinguished by its aggressiveness and is executed in a sporty style, which was created by specialists from the Tripp Design bureau. The interior was designed by the Wetzels Brown Partners team.
With an ultra-light construction, the interior volume of the yacht exceeds all expectations. The engine compartment is equipped with the latest hybrid power plant. Better Place has a special system, the purpose of which is to facilitate the management of sailing structures. The mobile keel regulates the ship's draft. The ratio of the sail area to the degree of displacement is balanced in such a way that yacht Better Place can be called one of the fastest yachts in its size.
