The catamaran is completely autonomous and you no longer need to plan your itinerary with gas stations and a solid budget for gasoline or diesel, as you used to do on your power cruiser.
The batteries are guaranteed to last 8 years, and the solar panels — 25 years. Moreover, replacing these elements will not be a complete disaster for your wallet. The electric motor does not require intervention and any maintenance at all. Well, except to press fresh grease into the stuffing box.
