Majesty 175 - the world's largest composite yacht

Gulf Craft is proud to announce the launch of the highly anticipated Majesty 175, the largest composite yacht in production to date. The ceremony, which was attended by the owner of the yacht, a successful businessman from the UAE. The launch took place at the Gulf Craft shipyard in the UAE.

The project has been in the works for four years and attracted a lot of attention already at the time of its release at the Monaco Yacht Show in 2016. It became a turning point in the development of the industry, which fueled the interest of yacht professionals and enthusiasts who were looking forward to the completion of the project. At 54 meters long and 9.6 meters wide, the Majesty 175 is Gulf Craft's largest yacht to date and established the yard's leading position in the superyacht market.

"This is a special day in the history of Gulf Craft. I am proud of everyone involved in the creation of this amazing treasure and [proud] of launching the world's largest megayacht. This "The project has required four years of hard work and dedication from the entire production team. I believe that by building the Majesty 175, we have launched a new market trend that many shipyards around the world will follow," said Gulf Craft Chairman Mohammed Hussain Alshaali."</p >

The interior and exterior design of the yacht is the result of the work of the Italian design team Cristiano Gatto. The Majesty 175 was designed by Massimo Gregory of Yankee Delta Studio, who also worked on the Majesty 155 hull design.

With a displacement of 789 tons, the yacht can accommodate up to 14 guests in seven spacious cabins. The owner's cabin is located on the upper deck and provides two passes to the 5-meter pool with a unique swim-stream system. In the crew area - 6 spacious cabins, including a separate cabin for the captain.

Constructed to MCA specifications (for yachts over 500GT) using advanced composite materials such as carbon fiber and vinyl ester, this yacht sets new standards for innovation and technology in the yachting industry , because usually this category includes ships built of metal. The special properties of the materials used allow the Majesty 175 to go where low draft is required, such as in the Caribbean, where the depth is only 2.25 meters.

The yacht is equipped with two six-bladed propellers and two powerful MTU 12V 4000 M63 engines, rated at 1500 kW each. The electrical network on board is powered by a pair of Kohler 175 kW generators and is equipped with two pairs of TRAC stabilizers. The maximum speed of the yacht is 16.5 knots. The range at a cruising speed of 10 knots is 4,000 nautical miles, making the Majesty 175 a transoceanic vessel. The safety systems required for a yacht over 500GT, including a SOLAS lifeboat and an emergency generator, are also installed aboard the new megayacht.

The yacht is equipped with an advanced navigation system built into a stylish glass console on the bridge, along with a host of on-board system controllers, sensors and monitors. An ethernet and Wi-Fi network is also available on board, which is integrated into the tracking system of satellite television and VSAT satellites to establish an Internet connection.

Costas Kristadoulou, Majesty 175 Project Manager: "I am extremely proud to be a part of this historic event. We have worked closely with the Cayman Islands Registry and Bureau class community Veritas on the issue of interpreting and adapting the rules for yachts over 500GT, which are usually relevant for ships made of metal."
