A new superyacht was launched, which exceeded the overall dimensions of the famous Eclipse yacht of Roman Abramovich. From now on, the status of the largest superyacht has passed to the ship called Azzam. The person of the giant's customer is still a secret, but there are speculations that the ship was built for the Saudi prince Al-Walid ibn Talal al-Saud. Azzam launched in Germany. The construction of the world's largest yacht took a total of about four years - a year to design and another three to build. The price of such pleasure was about 609 million dollars. The length of Azzam reaches 180 m, which is 17 m more than the length of Abramovich's Eclipse yacht. But not only the size of the yacht distinguishes it from the "brothers" - it is also the fastest in its class. The power of the propulsion systems of the yacht is 94 thousand hp, the speed achieved by it exceeds 30 knots (48 km/h). The width of the vessel is 20.7 m. The displacement of the vessel is 14 thousand tons. Among other things, Azzam has on board two gas turbine units and two diesel engines. The yacht was designed by specialists from Nauta Yachts, and the construction took place at the Lurssen shipyard in Bremen. The Azzam yacht will be serviced by 50 people. The "stuffing" of the superyacht is still a secret. One can only assume that such a ship should amaze with luxury and novelty. For example, on the yacht of Roman Abramovich there are two helipads, a cinema, a large hall and a mini-submarine. But the future will show what to expect from Azzam.
