At the Nobiskrug shipyard, one of the largest sailing yachts in the world is being tested and sea-trialed A. The hull of the yacht and almost all of its superstructures are made of carbon fiber and composite materials. The idea of creating such a work of art came to the designers in 2008 and was implemented by a specially assembled international team, which included the best professionals. The value of the yacht is equal to 400 million Euros. |
The ship was built at the German shipyard Nobiskrug. Its dimensions:
- length 142.81 meters;
- the masts are taller than Big Ben;
- width of the yacht 24.88 meters;

- water tonnage 12,700 tons.
Management is carried out from the captain's bridge, where a special touch panel made of black glass is installed. The maximum speed that the yacht can develop — about 39 kilometers per hour.
The design of the yacht hull and keel is made by the Dutch company Dykstra Naval Architects.
