For the third year in a row, the Salon Nautique International Nautique de Paris is holding Nautic SUP – rowing around Paris, starting at 8am on Sunday 9 December 2012, thereby taking off the boat show.
The world-famous exhibition dedicated to the water entertainment industry, the French shipbuilding industry, occupies more than one hundred thousand square meters of the Porte de Versailles exhibition center.
«Dam across Paris – something incredible. This event, where you set off with the first rays of light, is magical. I should get a ton of photos ... the potential of this cross country is huge, Paris and downtown rowing – it is a sensation that affects the collective imagination! », – comments Robbie Naish, sponsor of the race in 2011.
Last year, a hundred brave souls gathered at dawn along the Nautic SUP starting line in Paris to begin rowing on the Seine in front of the National Library of France.
This year, in line with the exponential growth in the number of entries, Nautic has organized a race for 200 participants and divided the event into two classes: Leisure and Professional.
Participants will gather to challenge the Parisian winter, starting at the National Library of France and ending at the far end of the Promenade de Javel. Last year's winner of the regatta was Eric Tierren. one of the world's sports experts.
Registration opens on Saturday, September 8, 2012 on the official Nautic website.
