Industry-unique solar power system Sunreef 80 Eco includes ultra-light solar panels integrated in composite materials located in the hull sides, mast, superstructure and bimini roof. Using industry-first technology, the PV system can deliver up to 36kW/s.
Propelling the yacht in the absence of wind is powered by two 180kW electric motors that provide the highest energy efficiency and performance. When under sail, Sunreef 80 Eco generates energy from a passive the movement of two propellers thanks to an advanced hydro-generation system. The resulting energy will be used both to power engines and to operate household appliances. The system will be able to generate more 15kWh at speeds greater than 7 knots.
