The Southerly Regatta 2012 kicked off this weekend, hosted by the Southern Fleet at the Western Royal Yacht Club ( Royal Western Yacht Club in Plymouth. This 5-day annual event is now in its 21st year and promises to have an exciting program sponsored by Selden, Raymarine, Lewmar and Yachting World. The route of the sailing yacht regatta runs between the towns of Plymouth and Fowey. The competition will conclude with the Grand Prize Giving Evening at RWYC.
