The first conceptual model of an open hydrofoil catamaran was presented by Sunreef Yachts in 2014 during the Cannes Yachting Festival. From that moment on, the engineers and designers of our company were engaged in the development and improvement of this concept, creating the most technically perfect luxury multihull speedboat available on the market.
Using a multihull structure in the design of a day cruise boat allows you to arrange a large space for relaxation and ensure exceptional stability at high speeds. Due to its natural balance, the 40 Open Sunreef Power boat does not require stabilization systems and ensures fast and safe sailing. Two variants of this model - mdash; speedboat and hydrofoil boat — allow to fully reveal its potential.
The 40 Open Sunreef Power boat is equipped with a dynamic engine with a capacity of 2x435 hp. up to 2x860 hp, which provides a significant speed potential of more than 60 knots. The 40 Sunreef Power Open hydrofoil design variant is equipped with one of several outboard configurations from 2x627 hp. up to 4x400 hp The innovative system of retractable hydrofoils allows you to raise the boat above the water when traveling at cruising speeds of more than 25 knots. As a result, in wing mode, the 40 Open Sunreef Power H glides over the waves, reaching speeds of up to 60 knots. In these conditions, when water resistance is reduced to an absolute minimum, the boat is also advantageously distinguished by extremely low fuel consumption and a longer range.
As a wide-hull alternative to classic day boats, the 40 Open Sunreef Power also provides a new level of passenger comfort. Two lateral folding platforms at the stern increase the already considerable living space of the catamaran, creating ideal conditions for water sports. Under the aft flash platform is a spacious compartment for convenient storage of water entertainment and diving equipment. The well-protected control post is equipped with sports seats and a touch screen, which allows you to conveniently monitor the operation of the boat's systems.
Located in the bow, the dinette makes excellent use of the full width of the hull, providing maximum floor space with adjustable tables and ample seating. Depending on the owner's wishes, this part of the deck can be converted into a comfortable saloon, ideal for cruises lasting more than one day. A large amount of interior space allows you to place a bathroom, an additional bedroom or a utility room.
